Privacy Policy
Who we are
This website, eyesontherightpodcast.com, is run by Eyes on the Right Podcast, LLC. In this policy, “we”, “us” and “our” mean Eyes on the Right Podcast, LLC.
We collect as little about you as we can. This website has no visitor accounts, no comments and no advertising trackers of its own. This policy explains what we do collect, why, and who else is involved.
If you have a question about your information use our Contact page.
What we collect and why
We only collect information you choose to give us, in two places.
When you send a message through our Contact page, we collect your name, your email address, the topic you choose and your message. We keep a copy on this website so that no message is lost, and we email it to ourselves so we can reply. We use it only to answer you. To stop the form being flooded with spam, the site briefly keeps a scrambled code made from your internet connection’s address. That code cannot be turned back into the address, is not stored with your message, and expires after one hour.
When you sign up for our newsletter, your email address goes straight to Kit, the service that sends our emails. It does not pass through or stay on this website. Kit sends you an email asking you to confirm. After that we use your address only to email you about the podcast and our ministry. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and you can leave at any time.
We do not sell, rent or trade your information to anyone.
Cookies
Cookies are small files a website saves in your browser.
This website sets no cookies for visitors. We do not use analytics, tracking pixels or advertising networks. WordPress, the software this site runs on, sets cookies only for the people who sign in to manage it.
Other companies may set cookies once you leave our site. For example, Amazon uses cookies after you follow one of our Amazon links, so that it can tell us a purchase came from our recommendation. Their policies, linked below, explain what they do.
Other services this website uses
A few outside companies help run this site. When your browser loads a page, it may connect to them directly. Like any website, they can then see your internet address and basic browser details.
| Service | What it does for us | What it receives |
|---|---|---|
| HostGator | Hosts this website | Standard server logs of every visit, and contact-form messages |
| Kit | Sends our newsletter | Your email address, if you sign up |
| Google Fonts | Supplies the lettering on our pages | Your browser’s request for the fonts |
| Spotify for Creators | Hosts our podcast audio | Your browser’s request when you press play |
| Amazon | Sells the books and products we recommend | Only what you do after following one of our links |
| Venmo | Takes support for the podcast | Only what you enter after following our Support button |
Our pages also link to Apple Podcasts, Spotify, YouTube, Rumble, Instagram, Facebook and X, and to the store where our merchandise is sold. Once you follow one of those links, that company’s own privacy policy applies, not this one.
Amazon affiliate links
Eyes on the Right Podcast, LLC is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program. This is an affiliate advertising program that lets sites earn fees by linking to Amazon.com. As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases. It costs you nothing extra.
Amazon and other third parties may provide content and advertising, collect information directly from visitors, and place or recognize cookies on visitors’ browsers. We never see your name or address. Amazon’s reports show us which products were bought, never who bought them.
How long we keep your information
We keep contact messages for as long as we need them to reply and follow up, then delete them. Newsletter addresses stay with Kit until you unsubscribe.
Your choices
You can ask us at any time to show you what we hold about you, to correct it or to delete it. Contact us using the contact form and we will reply within 30 days. To stop receiving our newsletter, use the unsubscribe link in any email.
Children
This website is not meant for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has sent us their details, contact us and we will delete them.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle your information, we will update this page and the date below.
